Shipping is available within the United States for a flat rate fee of $10.50 per order or $11.50 per order when you choose an icepack shipping option. If you desire to purchase additional ice packs, please email us at hillsyumyumcandyshop.com. Orders will be processed within 3 to 5 business days of receipt under regular circumstances. Due to increased volume during peak periods, processing times may vary and increase. We appreciate your business, and your order are important to us.
Stated delivery times are contingent upon carrier provided estimates and they vary. Delivery times are not guaranteed service levels. In all cases, to keep shipping costs low, we ship the most economical way possible.
Cold Insulated Shipping/ Ice Packs
Hill’s Yum Yum Shop values your business and want you to receive your package in the best condition Please use discretion when ordering in summer months or if you live in a warm state/climate when the temperatures are high or forecasted to be high. We highly recommend that you choose an expedited/express shipping option when you checkout. Our cold/Ice packs are $1 each (6oz). The cold/ice packs help protect products to maintain their freshness and last longer until they reach their destination. Our other option is our insulated boxes which are lined with cool shield bubble liner and a cold/ice pack for $6.50 (each additional cold/ice pack $1) Please ensure when you pick cold insulated shipping/Ice packs, someone is available to receive the package when it is delivered. Cold packs/ Ice packs are not meant (but can last up to) to last over 24-48 hours. When coupled together, the on average, ice packs last up to 24 hours and will not last longer than 48 hours. Ice Packs will last the longest when paired with an insulated box, especially for heat sensitive items like taffy, chocolate, gourmet grapes, etc.… USPS, or FED EX, does not consider melted candy to be a damage claim. Our store is located at 200 Butterfield Rd Unit 182 in North Aurora, IL. You are always welcome to pick up your order and avoid shipping costs. Just be sure to choose the Store Pickup option at checkout. You will receive an email as soon as your order is ready for pick-up. It can take up to three business days to have your order ready.

Note: If "In Store Pickup" is selected at checkout, your order will be held at the Hill’s Yum Yum Shop Candy retail location located at 200 Butterfield Rd. Unit 182, North Aurora, IL 60542, and will be available for pickup during any of our normal store hours. If you are unable to pick up the order and would like it to be shipped to you, please contact us and we can ship the order for our flat rate shipping fee of $8.50. If the order is not picked up after 30 days, and no other arrangements are made between the customer and Hill’s Yum Yum Shop, the order will be disposed of as the items are food items that cannot be restocked after 30 days, and no refund will be given due to the loss of product.
Incorrect Shipping Address
If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address entered by the customer at checkout, the customer will be responsible for original shipping charges. If the customer wishes to have the package resent, they will be responsible for an additional $8.50 shipping charge. If the customer wants a refund, one will be issued upon request, minus the original shipping charges and a 10% restocking fee.
Please contact us if you entered an incorrect shipping address at checkout. The address can be updated prior to the shipment being sent out, with no cost to the customer. Unfortunately, if an incorrect address is entered and the package is not returned to Hill’s Yum Yum Shop, no refund will be offered.
If damage to a package is incurred during transit, please contact us at hillsyumyumcandystore.com or call us at 630-907-7486 within 48 hours of receiving the package. Please include pictures and a detailed explanation of the damage within your email.
Please notify us immediately by calling or emailing within 48 hours of the package being delivered if you have not received it. The customer must call the shipping carrier that day to inform them there was no package delivered to your address and you must provide them your tracking number. An investigation will proceed to determine if the driver actually drop off your package to the correct address. The shipping carriers have GPS tracking technology that will allow them to pinpoint the address the package was delivered to. If the shipping carrier determines the package was delivered to your address, then a refund/replacement package cannot be issued as the package may have been stolen. Any stolen packages cannot be refunded or replaced. If the shipping carrier determines that the package was lost, a refund or replacement can be issued and Hill’s Yum Yum Shop LLC. will file a claim with the carrier.
Unfortunate, we cannot accept any candy for a refund unless it is damaged in transit. However, if you have a question regarding a return, please contact us to see how we can help you.
We are located in and ship from North Aurora, IL. Please be aware, melted candy using any method of shipping is NOT considered a damage claim. We cannot guarantee the condition of melt-able candies and will not be held responsible for damages when shipped under these circumstances. Please use discretion when ordering in summer months or if you live in a warm state/climate when the temperatures are high or forecasted to be high. When ordering items such as chocolate or taffy, be mindful they have the potential to melt during the warmer months of the year or considering where you live. Before placing your order and checking out, please be sure of the weather in your area during the time you place your order.
